This Canadian teen sensation burst into the music scene via you tube with a Justin Bieber video his mother posted for his friends and family to see. He was only fourteen then. Scooter Braun, who later became his manager, saw his video and eventually introduced him to Usher. Justin Bieber soon signed up with the Raymond Braun Media Group, a company formed by Braun and Usher. It all started with a home-made video of a Justin Bieber song.
Stellar Career
Justin’s first single “One Time” was released in 2009 and quickly climbed the charts. The video of this single has been viewed 260 million times on you tube. His first full studio album My World 2.0 was released in 2010. Justin co-writes some of the songs in his album and his songs are mostly classified as pop R & B. A Justin Bieber song is very danceable, usually with a catchy tune, light and happy.
When you watch Justin perform in his Justin Bieber video, you will see that he can obviously carry a tune and dance quite well too. He plays several musical instruments and is quite charming in a teeny bopper boyish way. His videos are all about a teenager’s life showing him playing games and flirting with equally young girls. Change of Image
In February of this year, 2011, Justin decided to cut-off his signature hairstyle. He now sports a shorter, more mature hairstyle and looks much older than his original image. His voice is also noticeably lower, given that he hit puberty in the midst of his taking the world by a storm.
He turned 17 last March and he is trying to project a different image. Even his music has changed somewhat. The Justin Bieber video with his single “Pray” which he wrote himself and was released in October 2010 together with an acoustic version of his previous album, is a different sound altogether.
Justin describes the song as more uplifting, even motivational. What it is not is another teenage love song. This Justin Bieber song is about war, poverty, hunger, and the other ills of society. It shows how Justin has now developed social responsibility and how he wishes he could make changes.
This Justin Bieber video shows Justin visiting and playing with sick children in the hospital, working with Make a Wish Foundation. It even shows him praying. A portion of the proceeds of this video will go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
